Dear Prospective Member,

Our family lives in more than 100 countries. Our home is any road, any city, and any place we choose to gather. We are more than a Motorcycle Club. We are your brothers and sisters and we share your boundless passion for an American Legend and the lifestyle it has created throughout the world.

We are nearly half a million riders and more than a thousand chapters worldwide, all proud to be Harley Owners Group Members. Our mission is to provide members with a means to “Ride and Have Fun”. That’s a single concept we take seriously. After all we organize rallies, sponsor charities in our community, and countless other riding activities just to satisfy your hunger for the road.

By joining our Illinois H.O.G. Chapter you instantly gain new friends and riding partners. Soon, you will be riding hundreds and thousands of miles with us. You’ll learn about great roads, and every year there are guided rides with front and rear road captains lasting a morning, all day, 2 days, and even 3 days. Now that you own a Harley, we understand your love of motorcycling. Come and share it with other chapter members.

A lot of thought is given to keep the expenses low on rides and other events and the Chapter subsidizes the cost of some events for chapter members and their guests to encourage participation.  HOG gear (patches, T-Shirts, etc.) is sold at cost and there have been opportunities for subsidized motorcycle safety classes. There are special days where chapter members get special discounts at the dealership, and the dealer has multiple open house events that the chapter has had the opportunity to raise thousands of dollars for charity.

There are social events when the bike is put away (bowling, pizza parties, whirly-ball, breakfast before the motorcycle show, etc.), a picnic, Christmas party, and our tree at Brookfield Zoo.

The membership requirements are simple. You MUST be a member of National HOG®. Visit  or call (800-CLUB-HOG). All you need is your credit card and your Harley’s VIN. Once you have a National HOG® number, complete the Illinois Route 66 Chapter Application. Bring it to a Chapter meeting. Be sure to include the annual dues of $20.

Our meetings are held on the third Thursday of each month at 7:00 p.m.

We meet at:
Robert E. Coulter, Jr. American Legion Post
900 S. La Grange Road. La Grange
